जान्न चाहनुहुन्छ ?? तपाई को आई.पी. के होला - What Is Your IP Address On Internet

Every device which connects to the Internet is assigned a unique number known as an Internet Protocol (IP) address. IP addresses consist of four numbers separated by periods (also called a 'dotted-quad') and look something like
From an IP address, you can identify the region or country from which a computer is connecting to the Internet. Your computer can have multiple IP addresses which you would not be knowing, for example

  • If your computer is part of a local area network (LAN) then it will have a LAN address such as (also known as Private IP Address). This address uniquely identifies your computeron that LAN. You cannot use this IP address to connect to the Internet.
  • If your computer is directly connected to the Internet (for example, DSL modem), then it will have an IP address, which will be assigned by your ISP and will be unique.(also known as Public IP Address)
If you are working in a office or your computer is part of any LAN network, then all the computers on that LAN will have a similar Public IP Address. Because all of those computers connects to the Internet via proxy server, firewall server or a NAT server. (yea yea i know, i am not going into the depth of the networking. Just giving you the basic idea)
How To Check My IP Address:
After reviewing multiple sites, i found two sites pretty interesting which gives you more detail information about your computer which they collects from your IP address.
Using IP address finder from IP Address Location and all other IP tools for tracking IP addresses is free. It is one of the the fastest, easiest and most precise way to search and find the exact location of any public IP address, OS, DNS, IP country, country code and country flag. Just enter any computer IP address and perform IP address search without any limitation.
IP Address Location
This is a very simple site and gives you the basic results in a speed. But the additional feature which i like it, is the map location. You can see how it has traced you accurately in the map by zooming into it.
